An Eventful Year

Perhaps 2005 is the most important year for the development process of Darkfall. It may also be least eventful year if you see it from another point of view. That comes closely as a result of two years of ever increasing interactions with Aventurine, which turned to the then-site manager of DF Warcry, Ferox for lamentations. Ferox had been accused Aventurine of the long dry time of communication. As a result, the Aventurine community manager for a long time and the administrator of the forum, Brannoc, gave an announcement claiming his retirement form the game and left the studio for ever. But surprisingly only two days after that, he renounced his announcement and was reinstated to his former position. Soon another a couple of months later, Darkfall announced its Beta indicating a public beta anticipated kicking off in a short time. Brannoc, with his new full power, claimed that before the end of the year a beta testing would come into this world.
