Darkfall's combat

It is possible for friendly fire and collision detection to be effective in Darkfall. Darkfall’s combat is combined with a real- time combate system, and since then darkfall’s combat is expected to offer a more realistic combat experience than other fantasy MMORPGs. It has been stated that developers are dedicated to adjustment historically successful battle formations and tactics to be widely adopted and adapted for use in Darkfall. Likewise, both enemies and allies will be equally affected by area-effect spells and abilities, so in the event area-effect spells or abilities must be used with caution and discretion.
