Introduction on Seize and Knockback in Darkfall Online

Seize and Knockback are two out of four identical skills of each weapon in Darkfall Online. Both of them are very useful in their respective situations and sometimes even in conjunction with one another. Knockback plays its role in quick getaway, ninja looting, PvP survival, and just general tomfoolery. Compared with knockabck, Seize is a bit more situational, but it shows its great power, edge when it is used for long-ranged weapons such as polearm and two hand sword. It works badly when it is used with a short range weapon like knives because it only pulls from edge of your melee range. Its useful feature reveals when chasing someone to get it those last few hits. It also can works with knockback when it is used to disorient a foe, position an enemy for optimal group PvP.
