Kasdim in the Fantasy

The legendary Chaldean city, Kasdim, large and well-preserved, stands on the shores of a now dried-out large lake at the center of Cairn. Despite its peaceful appearance seen from far away, Kasdim is occupied by hundreds of strong monsters who are involved in the fight for the control of the city and the secrets hidden behind it.
When the empire collapsed, a few powerful Chaldeans ran successfully to Kasdim, a faraway trading station guarded by the soliders. They settled there as the last guardians of the Benevolent Empire's heritage. But many decades later the lake dried out and Kasdim turned to ruins due to climate changes. Fearing of the oblivion of their huge treasure in the future, the last Chaldeans buried their artifacts and books in a deep dungeon under careful protection. The only entrance is said to lie in the husk of the old city. This dungeon and the treasure it held became the focus of endless wars among the monsters.
