Almost every tree has lumber in Darkfall Online , and after harvesting from trees lumber can be transferred into wood at the workbench. Tress are primarily used to produce lumber, and can also be used to cast spell. Wood can be used in many formed, and its primary role is in city building.
In order to harvest lumber, you first need to wield a wood axe. Head towards the tree and press R to unsheathe the axe and swing at the tree.
In some clan cities and hamlets you may be able to construct a Grove, which gives significantly higher yields than regular trees. Your skill in logging affects your yield potential.
Fishing is a skill in Darkfall Online you can master through learning.
Fish is used in cooking, and if you are skilled in fishing, you will not have any food troubles. Eating food makes you strong, can enhance your regeneration rates significantly. You may also catch nacre while fishing. Nacre is a reagent used in spellcasting.
In order to fish, you fist need to produce a fishing pole. Head to the water’s edge, press P to unsheathe the fishing pole and left click while looking close at the water.
Herbs can be gathered from a various of bushes around Agon to be used in Herbalism to make various useful potions. This is a good way to gather berries used as food. If you have luck on you side you may find the elusive Steedgrass which is useful in crafting mount figurines.
