No reasons for killing enemies in darkfall online

There is a phenomena in Darkfall online, that you are told to kill that goblins at the beginning of the game. You are told they are your enemies, Trolls are your enemies. But never even once you get the explanation of that, such as where they came from, how come their society is the way it is. All you get is that they are all your enemies and you should kill them. By comparison, in WoW, if you take any animal, exclude for obvious reasons the wildlife life bear and lions and tigers, you will know the reasons you are asked to do so, that is every enemy in WoW has a backstory which is given to you along the way.
In darkfall, take the pigmen on the Barrens as an example, the pigmen in front of you are just there, attack you for no reason, and same deal you kill them for no other reason than they are the enemy.
