Take It on the Chin

Eurogamer's 2/10 review on Darkfall has caused a violent controversy. Tasos Flambouras responded to such a review, saying, "We'll just take it on the chin."
Tasos said it was very frustrating to deal with such a review scandal, and for those blaming Darkfall's reaction as unprofessional, Tasos rebuked that there was nothing professional about the whole affair in the first place. It was apparently for personal reasons with the motive to tear Darkfall apart, and moreover the reviewer seemed to have never actually played it.
Tasos explained that they had no intention to publicize the event at the beginning, but Eurogamer had no ear for their private solutions. Darkfall had no choice.
Tasos said without solid evidence, they would not accuse anybody. But now they were wronged and suffering irreparable damage and they simply could do nothing about it. The influence would last much longer than the event itself. Eurogamer offered a re-review but refused to take down the original one. Darkfall declined the offer and listed their reasons. In the reasons Tasos explained that they need a real review, and demand evidence for the score. Tasos also said that he and Kieron had a talk and he believed that Kieron could do an excellent review job.
