The horizontal slash and a vertical chop

You are able to toggle your attacks between a horizontal slash and a vertical chop by pressing “T”. in most cases where the two types of attacks do exactly the same damage except for certain situations where you may find one over the other as more practical. It is easier to connect with your targets by the horizontal slash because of its wide cone of damage. However the negative part of it is that in crowded combat this could have you striking your allies for damage because the game has friendly fire. In contrary, a vertical chop do a narrow cone of damage but works better in crowded situations.
